Aluminium cylinder treatment

TA-450 varnish: the cylinder tells you when it can no longer be used

Any aluminium cylinder that is heated or exposed to high temperature has its structure altered — and stops withstanding the high pressures of filling. The problem is that nothing changes to the naked eye.

That is why we apply TA-450, an exclusive varnish that works as a temperature detector: if the cylinder goes through heating, the coating reveals the change by turning dark green. Once that colour shows, the cylinder must be discarded.
